3D picture printing

Custom 3D picture printing, from your photo or artwork

Turn a picture into something you can hold. Send the image and what you want it to become, and PM3D reviews feasibility, rights and production details before sharing a proof for approval.

What can become a 3D printed picture

Photos, drawings and artwork can be explored as layered reliefs, framed keepsakes or desk pieces. Not every image suits every format, so the review recommends what is likely to work.

  • Photos, drawings and artwork you have the right to use
  • Layered relief or standing keepsake formats
  • Approximate size and quantity

How the review works

PM3D reviews the image, rights, size and finish, then prepares the design and shares a price once the requirement is clear. Design preparation is scoped separately where it is needed.

  • Image and feasibility review
  • Design preparation and quote
  • Proof approval before printing

What to expect

A 3D printed picture is an interpretation in layers of plastic. Fine detail, colour and finish depend on the image, size and material, and are discussed in the review. The image on this page is an illustration, not a photograph of a finished order.

  • Detail depends on image, size and material
  • Colour and finish discussed during review
  • Illustration, not a finished-product photo
Questions

Before you choose a design

What is custom 3D picture printing?

It turns a photo, drawing or piece of artwork into a 3D printed object such as a layered relief or keepsake. PM3D reviews the image and your requirements, then shares a proof for your approval before printing.

What image should I upload?

Use the custom quote form to upload JPEG, PNG, WebP or PDF reference images, up to five files of 10 MB each. Sharp, high-resolution images with clear contrast give the best starting point.

Can I print any photo or artwork?

Only send images you own or have permission to use. PM3D reviews rights and feasibility first and may suggest a different format if an image will not work well.

How much does it cost and how long does it take?

Price and timing depend on size, format, detail, quantity and the design preparation required, so they are confirmed after review. Submitting a request does not confirm a price, payment, production slot or delivery date.

Will I see it before it is printed?

Yes. PM3D shares a proof for your approval before printing.
