FAQ

Questions before you order?

Start with a listed product, photo, sketch or idea. These answers explain what needs review before price, payment or production is confirmed.

Getting started

Should I use Collections or Custom Quote?

Use Collections when you want a listed product. Use Custom Quote for a change outside the listed options, or to share a photo, sketch, PDF, reference link or written requirement for review.

Can I start without a printable 3D file?

Yes. Start with a photo, sketch, drawing, reference, or clear written requirement. If design preparation is needed, its scope is reviewed separately from printing and production.

Which file types does the quote page accept?

The quote form accepts JPEG, PNG, WebP and PDF references. You can attach up to five files, 10 MB each. Printable model files such as STL, OBJ, STEP and 3MF cannot be uploaded here. Describe the requirement and include a reference link if useful.

Quote and production review

How is a custom price worked out?

Custom pricing is reviewed from the actual requirement. Design preparation, size, quantity, material or process, finish, packaging, shipping, and taxes may be treated separately where relevant. Final order details are confirmed before checkout.

What if I do not know which material to choose?

Material sure nahi hai? Share the use case, approximate size, finish expectation, and where the object will be used. Suitability is reviewed for the specific requirement before the material is confirmed.

When are production and delivery timing confirmed?

For custom work, production and dispatch targets need to be confirmed during quote review. Courier transit is a separate estimate, so share any required date before payment or production approval.

Can PrintMe3D make any model or branded design?

No. Share only files and designs you are allowed to manufacture. Branded, licensed, restricted, unsafe, or technically unsuitable requests may be declined after review.

Account and support

Can I sign in and view order history?

Yes. Create a customer account to keep your Orders, proofs, and delivery history together.

Where should I go if I still need help?

Use Custom Quote to review the inputs planned for a future custom requirement. Use Order Help for a question about a listed product, Cart, checkout, or existing Order. PrintBot can also point you to the appropriate page.

Ready to choose a path?

Start a custom requirement or go to Order Help if your question is about an existing selection.
